Go to the latest reply Is it possible to review the maximum holdings again Mark. It is not uncommon for me to have over 60 teams in my portfolio on occasions. I see that Steven has mentioned a figure of 89 on another thread, although he mentioned some were tracker teams. Phil has also come up with some great ideas on making the portfolio page easier to manage. Have cut and pasted so it’s easier for you to consider our thoughts.Instead of arranging the portfolio page automatically in alphabetical order is there any way we can arrange it to suit ourselves? I mean a way we can put teams in whatever order we want - many of us hold long termers and it would be so helpful if we could put them at the bottom of our portfolios instead of all over it. Also so we can arrange teams in order they are playing i.e. all Saturday’s teams before Sundays teams and so on. I too think Phils idea of re-arranging your portfoio to suit you is a great idea. Being able to to put teams in date order would be great. |

I wouldn't mind being able to re-arrange my teams by the orderin which they play. Could be very useful! The True Gooner |

I have 37 teams all with 35000 shares, and I still have 128 million groats spare - but it takes me too long to spend it all - please please please please please increase the max holding!Being able to rearrange the portfolio would be lovely too - I'd be happy if the first step would be to have an option between alphabetical and by country Squibbs |

I have the same problem as Mr Squibbs, I currently have 21 teams in my portfolio - with 114m to still spend. My problem is I don't know where to spend it!! I have all my WC teams, Saturday and Sunday teams and some friendlies for next week but still can't spend all my hard earned dough. |

If I could make a suggestion as far as max holdings. With the World Cup coming up and an obvious lack of games over the summer, plus the inability to buy very far in advance for said WC, how about trialling an unlimited max holdings for the summer. This will allow those who have larger portfolios to concentrate on fewer teams as there are so few games. If this is not successful it can be scrapped after the WC, but at least everyone can see how it has gone. Recently I have found myslef with sometimes up to 30 mill spare as there aren't enough games to cover and that includes holding all my WC teams. As I said if this doesn't work it can be scrapped and at least over the duration of the WC those with largwer portfolios won't find themselves with large sums of groats unspent. |

Well there didn't seem to be much point in Trig making the effort for this did it.I'm sure there are plenty of people out there who struggle to keep their portfolios tidy with lots of teams in. So why don't you come up with some ideas that Mark can implement to make the game even better and make your life easier. It has been quite some time since the maximum holdings were reviewed and since that time I believe that the overall leader's total portfolio value has increased by somewhere in the region of 250 million groats. If Trig went to the effort of making this post, it was not for no reason. Come on people, start having your say! (Not aimed at Mark or slating the game I may hasten to add) |

Just an idea. If Mark reads suggestions and thinks they may improve the game and are easy enough to implement maybe he could set up a mini-poll screen to give DS members a chance to vote on the idea. |

how about you can program your portfolio to buy or sell at a curtain date or time? so, if you want a break or go on holiday, you don't need to worry about how you are doing when you are away.good idea? |

i thought of that rangers but have the time people struggle to sell and there would be more hick-ups in the system etc.. definitely a wicked idea! |

A version of this idea was brought up by trigger a few months ago. It was pretty much dismissed cos people would not have to log on to play which is bad news for the Guvnor. |

Thanks for increasing the share limits Mark. It would have been nice if the top limit was increased a bit more for portfolios worth over 200 million, but I guess we can't be too greedy!I also like the fact the latest scores page now shows the time remaining in the match and the kick-off times. Thank you. Steven |

Top stuff Mark. Not had much chance to experiment with the "custom" setting but I'm sure it will make life much easier. (as has the 45,000 trades) Well thought out Phil, those bacon butties for brekkie ARE good for something then? |

Working great now Mark. It is a really good addition to the game mate, especially for people with mega teams in their portfolio. Thanks for that! |

After a request from Tudor, Premium Members can also move the information at the bottom of their portfolio page to the top. |
