I would be very grateful if you could respond to my question, as follows: Do you feel that RnB music some has a definite musical meaning or is just a form of entertainment? (Examples from other genres are useful) Thank you!

Niall345 Member 20 posts Forum member since -12 Jan 2005-	posted 01-02-05 14:00 RnB is like any other music genre, it has fans who would say that the popular stuff is just the crap commercial side designed to appeal to the lowest common denominator to sell and make record companies money but there is a more underground element which has got credibility, personally i think it is trash and agree it is mostly just a fashion thing that like any other fashion will fade away, essentially it isn't even what it claims to b as im sure some would agree the stuff we hear on radio (usher, d'angelo etc) is hardly rhythm and blues but then again good charlotte are hardly a punk band are they. again it is trash and anyone who listens to commercial music is a moron.
